You cannot generate your seed phrase while you're connected to the internet. If you have some kind of spyware someone would already have your keys, ALWAYS turn off your internet connection before doing so.

  2. Appreciate it for sharing! I need advice: My Tron Wallet contains some USDT trx, and I know the seed phrase: clean party soccer advance audit clean evil finish -tonight involve whip -action-. Could you suggest how should I proceed with moving them to another wallet on Binance?

  3. क्या आपको लगता है कि क्रिप्टोकरेंसी को स्कूलों में पढ़ाया जाना चाहिए?

  4. Please be aware this is not as secure as a 'real' hardware wallet. It is still better than a software wallet or the 'wallet' on an exchange.
I am not an expert. A good chennel for info is: https://www.youtube.com/@CryptoGuide.

From the moment you decrypt and mount the USB volume, malicious software can get to the wallet. And keyloggers can get the password too.
With a hardware wallet, the password and content is only accessible by the device itself.

  5. Just made one of these yesterday but quick question what's the point of the encryption if coinomi has a password feature? Does the USB store the login, so even when you plug it in to a new device it will remember the login and automatically login? In that case that would make sense but I don't know if that's how it works

  6. quick question:

say I encrypt my USB stick to put wallet files on there.

the second I decrypt and mount it on my PC, it is essentially accessible again by anyone who has remote access to my pc, no? It is not that it is only mounted locally and for everyone else who tries to access it is still locked?

So it protects against physical theft but not really against remote access hacks?
